House of the People, has opened a closed-door meeting with Somalia’s Defense Minister Hassan Mohamed Ali on Wednesday. The meeting was chaired by the First Deputy Speaker of the House of the People, Abdi Sheikh Ibrahim Mudey and the 2nd Deputy Speaker, Mahad Abdalla Awad.
Ministry of defense has been in efforts to regain control across the country but that was never enough for the sufficient security of Somalia.Parliamentarians have asked the minister direct questions concerning the operations of the National Army as well as the Somali military commander on progress made over the last three years.
