A former President of the Federal Republic of Somalia has said that the new deal signed on February 25 offers the country a fresh start.
Hassan Sheikh Mohamud attended the talks that were facilitated by Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble.
A six-point deal was signed once the discussions ended on Thursday night.
Mohamud said that he believes the agreement offers new hope that solutions to the months-long electoral dispute are in the offing.
Furthermore, he encouraged all sides to ensure that such discussions continue.
Ex-President Mohamud spoke of his belief and hope that all political stakeholders would be invited in all future discussions.
