The latest report by Amnesty International shows sharp increase in the number of public executions in Somalia.
In its latest report, the organization shows that 38 people were executed in the East African nation in 2023.
This represents an exponential increase considering that only six executions were reported in Somalia in 2022.
Furthermore, Amnesty International reported that Somalia remains the only sub-Sahara Africa nation to carry out executions in 2023.
