Mogadishu Mayor Launches Construction of Sober Road in Wadajir District

The Governor of Banadir Region and Mayor of Mogadishu, Mohamed Ahmed Amir, has taken a significant step toward improving infrastructure in the city by laying the foundation stone for the construction of the Sobe Road project in Wadajir District.

This road, which has suffered severe damage over time, is one of the busiest and most vital thoroughfares in Mogadishu, playing a critical role in the daily lives of the local community.

The construction of Sobe Road is expected to enhance transportation efficiency, reduce traffic congestion, and improve safety for pedestrians and motorists alike.

This project reflects the government’s commitment to addressing the infrastructure challenges faced by the city and fostering economic growth and development in the region.

The initiative is likely to be welcomed by residents and businesses in Wadajir District, as it will not only improve mobility but also contribute to the overall revitalization of the area.

The successful completion of this project could serve as a model for future infrastructure improvements in Mogadishu and other parts of Somalia.
