Ahmed Mohamed Washington, the manager of Mogadishu Port, survived a bomb attack on the morning of November 28.
According to sources, Mohamed was on his way to work when a massive bomb explosion rocked his car.
Two of the bodyguards he was traveling with suffered injuries and were rushed to hospital for medical attention.
The explosion took place a few hours after a suicide bomb attack left eight civilians dead in the streets of Mogadishu.
The attack against Mogadishu Port manager is the latest in a series that seem to target senior government officials.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the Saturday attack.
