The leader of the regional state of Puntland has commended members of the public for joining the fight against Al-Shabaab.
President Said Abdullahi Deni said this during a public address delivered on Wednesday.
In his address, President Deni said that the uprising was a commendable act by members of the public.
Further, he extended his message of condolences to the families, friends, and colleagues of the people killed in the deadly explosion in Beledweyne on Monday.
