Russia is prepared and willing to provide Somalia with Military equipment.
Sergey Lavrov, the Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs, announced this following his meeting with Abshir Omar Jama Huruse.
The latter is Somalia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
Lavrov and Huruse met on Friday in Moscow.
The Russian minister added that the equipment would be for Somali National Armed Forces (SNAF).
He added that Somalia would use the equipment for the ongoing counterterrorism operations against Al-Shabaab in the nation.
