The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) has delivered a boatload of food aid to Kismayo.
SODMA sent a boat carrying 4,000 tons of food supplies to the administrative capital of the regional state of Jubbaland on Wednesday.
The agency will work closely with local authorities to ensure that the supplies reach the targeted vulnerable communities.
While making the donations, SODMA announced that it would continue to mitigate the effect of disasters around the country.
The organization further reiterated its commitment to improving the livelihoods of affected communities countrywide.
