Somalia has appealed to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to help safeguard its territorial integrity.
Abukar Osman Baale, the Somalia Ambassador to the UN, said this while addressing the latest UNSC session.
In his address, Ambassador Baale said that Somalia needs a strong presence of the UN.
He appealed to the UN to be at the forefront of fighting and advocating for a Somalia that is not only strong but also united.
