The new Somalia Ambassador to the United Kingdom has presented his credentials to Queen Elizabeth II.
Abdikadir Ahmedkheyr submitted his credentials to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth on December 7 in London.
A horse carrier transported Ambassador Ahmedkheyr to the Buckingham Palace for the presentation ceremony.
While at the Buckingham Palace, the new Ambassador did not present his credentials in person to the Queen.
Instead, he did so virtually, as part of the COVID-19 protocols.
