Three families of Somali Police Force (SPF) officers who were killed in the line of duty have received $98,550.
The families will share the money.
Maj. Gen. Abdi Hassan Mohamed Hijar, the Police Chief, handed over the money to the three families on Thursday, August 18.
Police officers raised the money on their own before handing it over to the families of their three colleagues.
The dead officers sustained injuries, which later killed them.
