Military officers from Turkey were in Mogadishu for discussions with President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia.
The officers were together with Ibrahim M. Yagli, the Turkish Ambassador to Somalia.
During Thursday’s meeting at Villa Somalia, the team from Turkey assured President Mohamud of their country’s support to the Somali National Army (SNA).
They also discussed the strengthening of the military cooperation between Somalia and Turkey.
