A Turkish Navy vessel that arrived in Mogadishu Port earlier this week finally left the country.
The ship, christened TCG KINALIADA (F-514) Corvette, departed from Mogadishu Port on Thursday.
Its arrival in Somalia was warmly welcomed.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud boarded the ship on Tuesday when it arrived and welcomed the naval officers from Turkey to the country.
The vessel’s arrival signaled the start of the Defense and Economic Development deal that Somalia signed with Turkey a few weeks ago.
