Uganda’s First Case of Ebola Causes Tension in Somalia

The first case of the deadly Ebola virus that was reported in Uganda has created tension in Somalia.

Uganda reported its first-ever case of Ebola on September 22.

Further, the health ministry is already collaborating with the Ministry of Transport and Aviation to institute measures for stopping the disease from entering and spreading in Somalia.

The health ministry indicated its plans to work closely with other health experts in the country and the World Health Organization (WHO) to prepare to tackle the disease.
