UN Agencies to Collaborate with Somalia’s Youth and Sports Ministry

United Nations agencies in Somalia are discussing closer cooperation with the federal Ministry of Youth and Sports.

On Wednesday, Adam Abdelmoula assured Mohamed Bare Mohamud of this when they met in Mogadishu.

Abdelmoula is the Deputy Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General.

Mohamud is the Minister of Youth and Sports.

The two met on Wednesday and agreed that the various UN agencies operating in Somalia have to support youth-led initiatives around the country.

Specifically, they spoke about the role of the UN agencies that run youth-related programs.
