Officers from the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) visited the headquarters of the Ministry of Information.
ATMIS officers were in Mogadishu at the offices of the federal information ministry on Sunday.
The ministry’s Director General Abdullahi Hassan Ganale was at hand to receive and welcome them.
They then spent time discussing issues pertaining to the national media.
They visited the offices of the Somalia National TV (SNTV), Radio Muqdisho, and Somali National News Agency (SONNA).
The three organizations operate from the information ministry’s headquarters.
