Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre commended the Somali Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA) for reviving the aviation industry in the country.
The Prime Minister was speaking at an event held to celebrate International Civil Aviation Day.
Prime Minister Barre hailed the SCAA for the relentless efforts it has put in to revive an industry that suffered the effects of mismanagement and conflicts for decades.
“Currently, the civil aviation industry is one of the top revenue earners in Somalia,” the Prime Minister confirmed in his speech.
“Many international flights now operate daily to and from Mogadishu because of the SCAA,” he added.
