Chief Justice Bashe Ahmed has appealed to Somali courts to expedite cases.
The Chief Justice issued this call on Saturday during a meeting he held with the chairs and charges of the Courts of Appeal from all over the country.
Representatives of the Benadir Region Court of Appeal were also present.
During their meeting, they discussed efficient strategies and plans that they have for the entire judicial system in the country in 2024.
However, the Chief Justice’s main call was for expediting of cases as well as the importance of fostering accountability.
Participants agreed that the courts have to deliver justice swiftly as the only way of serving the public better.
