The conference held to launch new national ID cards in Somalia ended on Sunday.
The two-day conference came to an end in the afternoon.
Senior Somali government officers attended the conference.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud was the first to receive the new national ID card.
Sheikh Aden Madobe, the Speaker of the House of the People, was among the speakers on the last day.
He reminded Somalis of the excellent role the new system would play in enhancing security around the country.
