Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) in Africa is at the forefront of demanding justice for 76 journalists killed in Somalia since 1992.
Authorities in Somalia have carried out a campaign of murder, detention, and intimidation against journalists in the country for decades.
Between 1992 and 2020, around 76 journalists have been murdered in the East African nation.
CPJ made this call on November 2 during the International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists, which is celebrated worldwide.
