The Director-General of Somalia’s Ministry of Health is in Kuwait to attend a post-COVID19 training.
DG Mohamed Adow was in the Middle East nation on Friday to attend the course.
He attended the course titled “Strengthening MENA’s Pandemic Preparation & Health System Resilience in the Shadow of COVID-19”.
The course is the brainchild of the World Bank.
It focuses on the preparations for pandemics in different parts of the world.
The training, which is for the 21 member states of the Eastern Mediterranean Region (EMRO), also addresses health emergency financing.
