Ethiopia has been warned against deploying its troops to the SSC-Khaatumo region.
Abdikhadir Ahmed Aw-Ali Firdhiye, the SSC-Khaatumo leader, issued this warning on Thursday.
He stated that Ethiopia would be committing a massive error in deploying its army to the region that comprises Sool, Sanag, and Ain areas.
Firdhiye spoke while addressing a large gathering at Las Anod.
He added that his administration was aware of plans by the Ethiopian government to deploy troops in Las Anod as a show of solidarity with Somaliland forces.
