The Federal Elections Implementation Team (FEIT) has asked all newly elected parliamentarians to collect their certificates before the swearing-in ceremony.
The swearing-in ceremony takes place in Mogadishu on Thursday, April 14.
Consequently, FEIT sent out the appeal to all Members of Parliament (MPs) and Senators.
FEIT has been issuing certificates of registration to all newly elected members of the House of the People (Lower House) and Senate (Upper House) for the last two weeks.
Thus far, FEIT has issued certificates to 203 out of 329 newly elected parliamentarians.
Furthermore, FEIT has vowed to proceed with the swearing-in ceremony despite the existence of a number of unresolved issues.
