The Federal Elections Implementation Team (FEIT) has written to the newly elected Members of Parliament (MPs) and Senators inviting them to Thursday’s swearing-in ceremony.
Newly elected members of the House of the People (Lower House) join their colleagues from the Senate (Upper House) for the April 14 swearing-in ceremony.
FEIT sent letters to the MPs and Senators on April 12.
According to the FEIT letter, the function is scheduled for Afisiyoni at the Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu.
FEIT urged the newly elected leaders to be at the venue early as the ceremony would kick off at 10 am.
