Somaliland is engaging in diplomatic discussions with France, as President Muse Bihi Abdi hosted a meeting with the French Ambassador to Kenya, Arnaud Suquet.
The meeting and subsequent discussions between President Bihi and Amb. Suquet took place on Monday in Hargeisa.
The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral relations between Somaliland and France, with particular emphasis on collaborative projects in health development, cultural preservation, and livestock development.
Additionally, both parties addressed important regional topics, including Somaliland’s upcoming elections, scheduled for November 13 this year, and the broader security and stability of the Horn of Africa.
Somaliland reiterated its commitment to peaceful coexistence and regional cooperation for mutual development.
