A fresh batch of Somalis rescued from Libya arrived in Mogadishu on Tuesday.
They were rescued and evacuated from the North African nation courtesy of the efforts of the Special Presidential Envoy’s Office for Migration Returnees and Children’s Rights.
The Special Presidential Envoy’s Office for Migration Returnees and Children’s Rights worked closely with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to evacuate the Somalis.
Those who arrived in the country included women and children.
Upon arrival at the Aden Adde International Airport, the returnees knelt and kissed the ground to show their appreciation for returning home.
