Health Ministry Trains Somali Workers on Hospital Management

Somalia’s Ministry of Health held a training session for health workers from different parts of the country on November 30.

A communiqué from the health ministry said that the training was crucial for enhancing the capacity and skills of health workers during a pandemic.

The workers were trained on hospital management and leadership.

Several global organizations partnered with the health ministry to make the workshop a success.

These included the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Bank.

According to the trainers, the workshop seeks to equip the workers with skills to prepare them to offer emergency response services in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.
