High-ranking officers from the Ethiopian army traveled to Hargeisa on an official visit.
The soldiers from the Ethiopian National Defense Force (ENDF) arrived in the Somaliland capital on Monday for the visit.
They held meetings with several top Somaliland officials including the Minister of Defense.
According to local media, the ENDF officers and their Somaliland counterparts discussed ways of enhancing cooperation in the security sector.
The meeting is a follow-up of the agreement that Somaliland and Ethiopia signed on January 1, 2024.
