The Humanitarian Coordination Forum 2023 ended in Baidoa on Wednesday.
The two-day forum was officially opened by Deputy Prime Minister Salah Jama.
Mahamuud Moallim, the Commissioner of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA), also led representatives from his organization to attend the forum.
Participants expressed concern over the impending El Nino rains.
Experts believe that the El Nino phenomenon could affect as many as 1.2 million people around the East African nation over the next two months.
They recommended early preparation to offset the effects of El Nino.
