Hundreds of mourners attended the burial of a woman who died after being burned by her husband.
Throngs of mourners were at the site of the burial of Lul Abdiasis, a Mogadishu woman burned by her husband last month.
She was laid to rest on Friday.
Her family had refused to lay her to rest until they got justice.
This week, a Benadir Regional court found Lul’s husband guilty of killing her. Consequently, he was sentenced to death.
Lul was buried in Jazeera, a village on the outskirts of Mogadishu.
