The Joint Justice and Correction Program (JJCP) has been launched in Mogadishu.
The Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs launched the program in a colorful but brief ceremony in the nation’s capital on Saturday.
Deputy Prime Minister Salah Jama led other federal government ministers in attending the launch.
He was joined by Chief Justice Bashe Y. Ahmed, who doubles as the President of the Supreme Court.
Other governmental officials from the relevant departments were present at the ceremony and so were international partners.
