The regional state of Jubbaland plans to hold elections for six House of the People (Lower House) seats on December 28.
The state electoral body announced the seats that candidates would contest for on Monday.
These seats include HOP082, HOP108, HOP113, HOP134, HOP203, and HOP217.
According to the regional elections body, registration of candidates has already taken place.
Six candidates have received their certificates for the upcoming elections too.
