Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs held a meeting with representatives of the Benadir Community Awakening Institution in Mogadishu on Wednesday.
During the meeting, justice minister Hassan Sheikh Ali Moallin briefed members of the institution on the status of the constitutional review process.
He informed them that focus on the constitution review process, citizens’ rights, and the status of Mogadishu are crucial topics for Somalia’s future.
Moallin commended the efforts of the Benadir Community Awakening Institution.
He added that the institution’s efforts reflect a commitment to inclusive nation-building.
The justice minister and institution’s officials discussed the rights of Somalis as well as the issue of the status of Mogadishu.
