Somalia’s Ministry of Livestock and Forestry has launched a campaign to improve access to veterinary services in the country.
Mohamed Adan, the Minister of Livestock and Forestry, launched the campaign on Monday, February 8.
The campaign has received funding from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
Currently, the East African nation is in the midst of one of the worst droughts in its history after rains failed for the consecutive seasons.
Livestock care has become a major priority to farmers across the country.
