Members of the local community in Buloburde have vowed to continue supporting the fight against Al-Shabaab.
On Sunday, they joined a security operation by the Somali National Army (SNA) in the region.
The operation enabled the SNA to kill 90 Al-Shabaab terrorists in Buloburde’s Jicibow village on October 9.
Local communities are supporting the ongoing operation in several ways.
For example, youths and women have been delivering food supplies, milk, and livestock to SNA forces carrying out the operation in this part of Hiiraan region.
They have vowed not to stop supporting the government troops until all terrorists are removed from the area.
