Sheikh Adan Mohamed Noor Madobe, the Speaker of the federal House of the People (Lower House), held discussions with candidates interested in Southwest’s presidential polls.
Speaker Madobe held a meeting with candidates vying to be President of the regional state of Southwest.
His meeting with the presidential candidates took place on Tuesday, December 27.
The Lower House Speaker met with the candidates at his residence.
Speaker Madobe and the candidates agreed to work together harmoniously and reconcile the regional state.
They also vowed to cooperate in the ongoing fight against Al-Shabaab terrorists in the region.
