Ministry of Health Confirms 23 New COVID-19 Cases in Somalia

The Ministry of Health has announced that 23 more people have tested positive to the COVID-19 pandemic that continues to ravage the country.

According to the health ministry, the new cases are in Somaliland and Benadir, which recorded 19 and 4 new patients respectively.

Furthermore, the health ministry announced that none of the new cases is female. Instead, all the 23 cases are male.

Additionally, health officials reported that the country had recorded 39 new recoveries, thus bringing this tally to 724.

Somalia has now reported 2,719 positive COVID-19 cases, out of which 88 people have succumbed to complications arising from the deadly disease.
