Mogadishu Elder Claims Gunmen Tried to Grab His Land

A Mogadishu elder has claimed that some gunmen attacked him with the intention of taking possession of his land forcefully.

Sheikh Muhudin spoke to the media on September 21 to narrate an incident that has left him shocked.

According to Muhudin, some gunmen arrived at his land and attacked him.

He could not identify the gunmen.

Nevertheless, Muhudin has stated that he would not allow any person to grab his land.

Furthermore, the religious elder has now appealed to President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre to protect his land.

Muhudin says he knows the people who want to grab his land.

In his appeal to President Mohamud, Prime Minister Barre, and the new Mayor of Mogadishu, Muhudin says he knows the people who want to grab his land in Lafole.
