Mayor Omar Filish has written to President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud asking for his intervention regarding the continued looting of land.
According to Mayor Filish, Mogadishu has been witnessing massive looting of land by different individuals.
Consequently, he wants the government of President Mohamud to intervene fast before the situation worsens.
Mayor Filish’s letter to President Mohamud is dated Wednesday, June 1.
In his letter, Mayor Filish indicates that land grabbing has become the order of the day in the Somali capital.
