The Mayor of Mogadishu has promised to launch an intense war against drug dealers.
Yusuf Madale, the Mayor of Mogadishu and Governor of the Benadir Regional Administration, vowed to fight the growing cases of drug use in the city.
He warned drug peddlers that his administration would be hard on them.
Further, Mayor Madale vowed to heighten operations against the dealers.
He added that his administration would not rest until they clear the city of all criminal gangs and drug dealers.
“Drug dealers and all criminals in the city should stop their activities and leave immediately,” the Mayor said.
Madale said this during a meeting with traditional elders from Karan.
