Mogadishu – Today’s highly anticipated national dialogue convened by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud did not take place as scheduled.
According to sources from Villa Somalia, the delay was attributed to logistical issues, with several key delegates still en route to the capital, Mogadishu.
State media confirmed that the meeting has been rescheduled for tomorrow, 16 June, as final preparations continue.
The dialogue is expected to address pressing national matters, including security, reconciliation, and political cooperation.
