Hamza Abdi Barre spent the better part of the afternoon in discussions with Mohamed Hussein Roble.
Barre, recently announced as the new Prime Minister of Somalia, visited the person from whom he is scheduled to take over.
The new Prime Minister will replace Roble once the federal parliament approves President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud’s choice.
The President appointed Barre his new Prime Minister this week.
Barre visited Roble at the Cabinet Office in Mogadishu on Friday, June 17.
Outgoing Prime Minister Roble wished the incoming premier success in his new role.
Since his appointment, Prime Minister Barre has been meeting with various government and political leaders in the country.
