The Director of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) commended the cabinet for passing the NISA Act.
Director Mahad Salah expressed gratitude on his behalf and that of the spy agency to the Council of Ministers.
The cabinet held its weekly meeting at Villa Somalia under the leadership of Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre on Thursday.
NISA Director Salah added that the new Act is important to the effective regulation, operation, and management of the spy agency.
