The Director of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) has traveled to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on official visit.
The visit by Abdullahi Sanbalolshe is the first official one he makes since taking over the reins at the spy agency.
Sanbalolshe’s visit is quite significant as it comes at a time when the two countries are in the middle of a souring of relations.
Insiders recently broke the news that the UAE government had halted the salary, resources, and other support that it used to extend to the Somali National Army (SNA).
