Waddani Party, one of Somaliland’s major parties, has blasted the government’s Director Generals for attending the recently concluded Grand Convention of Kulmiye Party.
President Muse Bihi Abdi was elected into office under Kulmiye Party.
Delegates at the convention reelected President Bihi Kulmiye Party’s presidential candidate in the upcoming elections.
Mohamed Saddiq Dhamme, Waddani Party’s Secretary of Social Affairs, said that the Director Generals breached the constitution by attending a political event.
Consequently, Waddani Party has written and sent a letter to Somaliland’s Civil Service Commission to take legal measures against all the affected members.
Dhamme mentioned that his office has forwarded a list of names to the Civil Service Commission.
