The outgoing United States Ambassador to Somalia has been commended for his role in strengthening ties between the two nations.
Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre hailed the role that Amb. Larry Andre played over the years.
He was speaking at an event held to bid farewell to the Ambassador in Mogadishu.
The farewell event took place on Wednesday.
The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the US for consistently supporting and partnering with the East African nation.
