President Muse Bihi Abdi visited the man he took over from as the leader of the breakaway region of Somaliland.
On February 21, Bihi visited Ahmed Silanyo, an ex-President of Somaliland, at the latter’s house in Hargeisa.
Thereafter, Bihi accompanied Silanyo to Egal Airport.
Silanyo was on his way to United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Several senior officials in Bihi’s administration accompanied him to visit Silanyo and see him off as he left for the UAE on Sunday.
Since leaving office, ex-President Silanyo has lived in UAE.
Occasionally, he travels back to the East African nation to visit friends and family while attending to other personal and political engagements.
