On Sunday, President Mohamed Abdilahi Farmaajo appointed two new officials to occupy government offices in Benadir Province.
He issued a Presidential Decree that sees Ahmed Hassan Iman take over as the new Deputy Chairman of Management and Financial Affairs Department in Benadir Province.
In the meantime, Omar Ali Abdi becomes the new Deputy Chairman for Public Works in the Benadir region too.
The two offices have been vacant; hence, the decision by Farmaajo to fill them up with competent and experienced professionals immediately.
While appointing the two officials, President Farmaajo asked them to perform their duties with a high level of professionalism and diligence.
President Farmaajo appointed the two after sacking their predecessors. Iman takes over from the sacked Ibrahim Omar Mahad Alle while Abdi replaces Ali Fiidow.
