The recently appointed official spokesperson for the Office of the President held his first media briefing in Mogadishu.
Abdikarim Ali Kaar addressed the media on Saturday, June 18.
Journalists attending the event asked Kaar a wide range of questions on issues pertaining to Somalia and President Mohamud’s administration.
“This marks the first of many media briefings going forward,” Kaar assured the journalists.
