Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre joined other leaders at the National Consultative Council (NCC) meeting in Mogadishu.
The Prime Minister and the Speakers of both houses of parliament attended the second and final day of the NCC on Thursday.
He was together with Speaker Abdi Hashi and Speaker Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur Madobe of the Senate and House of the People respectively.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud chaired the consultative gathering.
The gathering has attracted present and former political leaders in Somalia to discuss issues pertaining to the future of the country.
